Clackmannanshire Team Poker Challenge 2012

Given the tremendous support and enthusiasm for the 2011 CTPC it is our intention to extend the competition to allow many more teams to participate in 2012.   To accommodate the additional teams, it will be necessary to change the format in 2012 to a four man team rather than the current eight man team. Each team registering with the STPA will require the consent of a venue to hold their leg of the competition (multiple teams may use the same venue). Each team can register up to six players from which they can select any 4 to play in the individual legs.   Depending on the number of teams registering, up to 6 teams will compete in each league on the first Monday in the month in each of their eight venues. League points will be awarded accordingly and accumulated over the 6 legs. After upto (dependant on entries) 6 games the top two teams from each league will play off at an Edinburgh Casino. All league night entry fees at each leg will be distributed on the night, in addition the STPA will sponsor the playoff  event with an anticipated prize pool in excess of £1000.   The Game ·        No-Limit Texas Holdem ·        4 Man Team ·        6 Teams per League ·        1st Monday each Month ·        1 Leg played in each teams home venue.
